Check In

Check in is at 4:00 pm (HST). Please text “CHECK IN” to 209-406-5976 when arriving.

Check Out

Check Out is at 10:00 am (HST). Cleaners arrive promptly at scheduled checkout time. There will be a ($200.00 USD) per hour late check out fee after 10:00 am (HST).

Door Code

There is a smart lock on the door. The four digit code (X-X-X-X) will be provided before your check in date.  Enter the code, wait for the motorized bolt to clear, then PUSH to open. If you enter the wrong code, you will receive a red blinking light. Wait 10 seconds and try again. When leaving, fully close the door and press the “padlock” symbol, then check if the door was locked and shut completely.

Parking

The property has 1 designated parking: number 54. There are a few visitor parking spots in the lot as well. There is no street parking available.

Quiet Hours

Quiet Hours are between 10 pm - 8 am. This property is situated among residential, family-communities governed by HOA. Making noise, such as loud music or loud voices between 10 pm - 8 am is prohibited and a public nuisance. Quiet hours are strictly monitored by building management. Violation of these policies result in up to ($50.00 USD) and if property management and law enforcement is called to resolve the issue then up to ($500.00 USD) fee is imposed.

Lanai (Balcony)

Monitor all children on the lanai. Please do not lean on the railings. Do not sit or stand on the tables; patio chairs are provided. Do not throw anything over the railing, including shaking off sand, liquids or trash. As mentioned, there are strong tradewinds in our unit, please monitor paper products and other lighter items from blowing away.

Pool and BBQ

Monitor all children in the pool as there is no lifeguard on duty. Follow all posted rules in the pool area. Please clean up after yourself, including the BBQ grill after use.

Trash

Please remove ALL trash when you leave. There is a trash shoot midway down the hall towards the stairwell, past the elevator, labeled “trash shoot”. There are separate recycling bins, so recyclables cannot be placed in the trash shoot. Take the elevator to the 2nd floor, turn right towards the stairwell to the parking lot, where the recycling bins are located. Sort recyclables accordingly.

Beach Gear

We provide a wagon to haul your beach gear. Available for use are two body boards, 2 beach chairs, a beach towel for each guest and a beach umbrella.

WiFi Code

The network name and password will be emailed to you separately prior to your stay. If you are having trouble connecting to the network, please contact us and we can assist in troubleshooting the issue.

Cleaning Supply Starter Pack

2 paper towels, liquid dish soap, 5 Cascade dishwasher pods, 1 sponge, pump hand soap for each sink, 1 Kleenex box per bathroom, 3 rolls toilet paper per bathroom, 3 trash liners for each trash bin, 5 Tide pods for washer and 4 Bounce dryer sheets. If you need extra supplies, please contact us so we can assist.

Washer/Dryer

There is a washer/dryer provided in our unit. Please make sure you remove sand from items as excess sand will clog the drain. Services warranted due to clogged washer/dryer will be billed to the renter, following aircover damage protection plan and Airbnb protocol. Please remove lint from the lint trap in the dryer after each use. After 3 days of usage, please remove lint from the additional side vent.

Extra Linen

Extra linens for the sofa bed is located in the guest room closet.

Sand Maintenance

We highly encourage washing excess sand off your feet/shoes and beach gear with the hose, available in two locations: one next to the visitor parking lot and second by the pool exit outside of the stairwell. Outside the condo, please shake off as much sand as possible with the floor mat. Please do not wash sand off in any sinks or the showers as it will clog the drains. Excess sand removal reported by cleaners at the end of your stay will be added at the renter’s expense.

AC Units

Maui has been hot so we recently installed portable AC Units in each room for your comfort. Please do not move the AC units as it will dislodge the tubing unit. Our area is known for the tradewinds, so AC may not be needed. If in use, please make sure to close all windows and doors. Please make sure you turn off the AC when you leave the unit.

Fans

Each fan is equipped with a remote. Please turn off the fan when not in use or when you leave the unit.

Smart TV

Please use your personal streaming account to use the TV. Streaming access is not provided.

Departure Instructions

  1. Please load all dirty dishes, place dishwasher soap and run the

    dishwasher before you leave.

  2. Please collect all your garbage in all the rooms including the bathrooms

    and dispose before you leave. Refer to above for Trash protocol

  3. Turn OFF all lights, fans and AC units.

  4. Empty the refrigerator and freezer, as well as all your personal items in the

    kitchen cabinets and drawers you brought to the unit.

  5. Return all furniture as you found it. There will be a ($50.00 USD) fee for

    cleaners to return furniture to its original place.

  6. Check under all beds, sofas, closets and drawers for your belongings. We cannot assume responsibility for any items left behind. If you have left something in the property and we are able to locate it, we will ship it back to you for ($50.00 USD) service fee, plus shipping costs. We must have a credit card in advance to ship the item(s) back.

  7. Close all windows, sliding doors and lock the door entry. When leaving, press the “padlock” symbol, then check if the door was locked and shut completely.

Hour Rules

  1. All linen, dishes and furniture are accounted for. Fees will be accrued for

    missing items.

  2. NO SMOKING OR VAPING IS ALLOWED INSIDE THE UNIT, FRONT

    ENTRY OR LANAI AREA.

  3. NO PETS ALLOWED.

  4. NO PARTIES ALLOWED.

RULES ARE STRICTLY ENFORCED, FEES WILL BE INCURRED IF VIOLATED.
